Lampros Psyrrakis was born in Thessaloniki Greece. After obtaining a degree in Mathematics from Aristotel Univercity, he studied painting at the Faculty of Visual Arts , at the same University, (1989-94). In 1995 he was awarded the National Greek Scholarship and in 1997 he completed his MA degree in painting at Middlesex University, London.
In 2005 he was elected as lecturer at the Visual and applied art faculty of Aristotel Univercity. Since 2009 is assistant professor at the same faculty, teaching painting and drawing, as a member of permanent academic stuff.
From 1997 , collaborates with Kalfayan Galleries, Athens-Thessaloniki, showing regularly his work in both cities and abroad. From 2013 he initiated a new collaboration with Zina Athanassiadou Gallery.
