BIOGRAPHY
Lampros Psyrrakis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. After obtaining a degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University, he studied painting at the Faculty of Visual Arts , at the same University, (1989-94). In 1995 he was awarded a National Greek Scholarship and in 1997 he completed his MA degree in painting at Middlesex University, London.
In 2005 he was elected Lecturer at the Visual and Applied Arts Faculty of Aristotle University. Since 2009 he is Assistant Professor at the same faculty, teaching painting and drawing, as a member of permanent academic staff.
From 1997 , he has been collaborating with the Kalfayan Galleries, Athens-Thessaloniki, showing regularly his work in both cities and abroad. From 2013, he initiated a new collaboration with the Zina Athanassiadou Gallery.
